First, our thoughts and prayers continue for the safety of all our responders during this trying time. We are here, and we are here for you.  The 2nd Annual Clay Shoot is set for Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Tampa Sporting Clays.  The 3rd Annual Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club. Both events will meet any and all CDC and State of Florida social distancing guidelines, as we want you to have a safe and fun experience.

The roll out the Museum’s new web page happened in April. We have new photos, articles and information about upcoming events. Each week, a photo of a museum piece will be added to the web page. There may be a short history of each piece, or you can fill in the blanks by giving us more detail.

Museum Curator, Retired Captain Eric Kendrew has been busy

Eric kendrew 1
Retired Captain Eric Kendrew was named the HFEM Curator at the inception of this organization. We could not have a better person for the job. He began his fire service as a cadet, and retired as a Captain with HCFR. On his days off, Capt. Kendrew built a sizable fossil collection.
With this talent, Capt. Kendrew is doing the same for our Museum. To date, Eric has photographed, documented, priced and researched the history of over 184 museum pieces for HFEM. Your donated fire and EMS items will all pass thru his review with as much detail that you can provide about the items’ origin, assignment, and service.
